We’re excited to continue our journey in 2026 with Birdsong, the third single from our upcoming album Termination Sequence, following Nothing For None and Empty Cribs. Perhaps the catchiest and most emotional song on the album, Birdsong explores themes of growth, regret, self-hatred, and inner conflict.

Melodic, almost wistful verses lead into a story of aggression and personal struggle, asking a difficult question: Do we really have to accept every part of ourselves – or is change sometimes the only option? Musically, Birdsong reveals a new, more poppy and melodic side of GODZILLA IN THE KITCHEN. Alternative Metal and Stoner influences meet catchy melodies and an emotional, almost anthemic character, while still staying true to our roots.
